[Ad/Gifted**] Benchdogs reamer doing a fine job opening up the dog holes in the little Excel bench; you could probably do the entire bench in 2 minutes but the reamer does get hot; I did the 40-odd holes in 3 bites with time to cool down in between, though it didn’t seem to make a scrap of difference to the hole sizes. Made me feel better though…
.
Reamed dog holes are a nice fit with all the brands of bench dogs I have to hand, and the taller dogs stay nice and perpendicular.

Metabo next, or swap out this top for a new 20/96 MFT one?? 🤔

It was not perpendicular...
Do you use or need anything to keep the drill perpendicular to the board?
Metabo next!
Why is swapping the top on the Metabo even a thought. It makes the purchase of that bench only expensive legs.
So I would prefer fixes for that bench. But even better… a good bench out of the box for a decent price. How hard can that be 😮
Think you just have made my mind up to go and get one the Metabo plus the @benchdogtools thingy ma jig reamer thing
Good to see they saw my mention and sent you one over to try! ☺️
Thanks, will be buying this if I get this table. How would you compare this cheap table to the wooden folding MFTs available on eBay for around the same price? Have you had a chance to use any of those yet ?
So clean
I have the UJK reamer and chamfering tool which made the holes too large. Do you have the same experience with that tool or with the Benchdogs tool?
I used the Bosch pro 12V flexiclick with a hex-head BTW, wonder if that’s at fault.
What is the cutter and by whom?
at £20 it’s a no-brainer!
Is this a festool product, if so how musb
Nice Festool PDC18/4😍
