Wouldn't say this is a modern take at all. Build the house of concrete or bricks to start out with.
Then unless you need load bearing interior walls...
    - You are far better of using aluminium stud system with rubber padding against the floor and walls
    - then insulate with heavy stonewool or cellulose wool panels
    - there are acoustic decoupler fasteners for most aluminium systems that mitigates sound transmission from the gypsum boards to the interior stud system.
    - use one inch or two half inch gypsum boards with green glue inbetween the staggered gypsum boards.
-Seal the floor and wall edges with tape or silicone to make all edges completely air tight!
    That's how you build studios!
