Ford: 1903-2025. So this would tell on YOU for your own driving, and would tell on other drivers? The owners of the Ford snitch vehicle would constantly have to be in court...either for themselves...or for gathering information (unknowingly) about other vehicles. The courts would need your testimony. You might be forced to testify....when you have other things to do. There are also a ton of legal ramifications. There would have to be legal rules of the road, so to speak. Currently, law enforcement would need probable cause and would have to get a search warrant to obtain vehicle data. It's frightening that this new system envisions a country where those legal steps are skipped. This gives a hint on which way the industry may be planning to go. The auto industry spends millions on lobbyists who actually reside in Washington DC. Essentially, their job is to buy members of Congress and get big legislation through. I can see them forcing a law through. Nine times out of ten, the big companies and their lobbyists get what they want. This aligns with the Republican theme of taking away constitutional rights...with the assistance of a corrupt fascist majority on the Supreme Court. This would not be constitutional...but that hasn't stopped a lot of changes from going through. So, this is likely to happen eventually. It's all about how much it will cost the lobbyists to bribe a Republican Congress and a thoroughly corrupt Supreme Court majority.
What if someone is having a health issue and they are rushing to the hospital what if there is a emergency what if they are married and the wife is about to give birth?
Or, fathom this... only allow cars to reach 85mph. Problem mostly solved.
