Dominican Republic was very disappointing. Went twice. Different well appointed resorts. Both time said I would never go back. The ocean , weather and resort grounds were beautiful. The airports is slow as molasses. The people are very kind. But there is trash everywhere that isn’t a resort. And it’s a poor country so everyone is trying to get a buck. So be prepared to be harassed on the beach. In my opinion The food is so so. In my experience there are better places to spend your hard earned travel dollars.
