As someone who has bought several of these factory paintings in the past I can say that the one you see online will be the "best" example of that painting, and the one you actually receive will be an inferior copy.

All you need is one person from this village who can successfully produce great art forgeries that can fool the art community and make himself millions, oh wait tbey did that already. My bad, back to real art made by a guy who taped a banana to a wall and sold it for millions, or maybe some invisible art on a blank canvas.. 🤔

All (visual) Art creates images but not all images are Art.

It's called junk line painting and it's been going on since forever . The term Junk has to do with the paintings of the boats that were called Junk boats . Each piece is assembly line

This is been done over and over, but the paintings have no life! Melancholy at best.

IMO I'd be interested in learning how to paint this skillfully. Where could someone sign up for good acrylic painting courses in Shenzhen? :)

Nothing new, some guilds in medieval Europe did the same thing, mass produced religious icons. The issue, if there is one, are the number of people who will quite happily pay for a mass produced replica instead of finding something unique. Either way, this doesn't 'ruin art', in the same way that all the people who bought that black and white IKEA city print with a red bus couldn't destroy art.
