Chopstick display I made for @jont_dc this month. It’s designed for the guests to select their preferred pair of chopsticks for the meal course, with a push-to open mechanism and magnetic “latch” to keep them closed.
A lot of work went into making it look simple, so the drawer mechanisms wouldn’t show or take up (visible) space in the display. I’ll be posting more detailed process videos in the next week, but for your sake I’ll leave out the hours of staring into space, clicking cabinet latches while I tried to visualize how to incorporate them.
