  I dont know where you are but the NA rav4’s have a connection under the hood that you can unplug and it disables the stop start feature for free.

  If you directly disconnect the plug connected to the battery terminal, it will do the same thing as disabling the start/stop system, or you can turn on the diagnostic machine and disable it there.

  Thanks to Trump and his team, auto start-stop is gone in new vehicles but who knows when that will take affect
