These agaves are not in a distillery. Nope. Instead, they are being ground up as cattle feed. Is this a sign of where the price of agave will be in a few years? #tequila #agave Video from José María Vázquez González.

Didn't Patron stop Coffee Tequila because of shortage ???
any one know of any one selling the pulque?
yes tequila or mescal is overpriced
So what is really happening is that Mexico has over abundance of agave farms in the past few years that is why the market is down so what is really happening is that they have too many plants and not enough tequila drinkers.
Lies
Imagine eating a burger infused with agave 😋 🍔🤣
Time that Lalo tequila, Jalisco tho 😂😂🤤🤤🤤
Nobody really drinks tequila. The handful of drinks it’s put into doesn’t justify a specialized plant like this.
We have implemented “agave finished beef” at our certified organic cattle ranch in San Miguel de Allende and we are making the world’s first regenerative mezcal with the piñas that are steamed Guanajuato-style and not smoked. Our @casagave.sma has installed and implemented fields of agave and we harvest the agave leaves and grind them into mulch. The agave silage goes into barrels and is fermented for 28 days then the organic fermented agave silage is fed to our cattle, who provides grass-finished, agave-finished beef to Mexico. We would be happy to share our process with you, it’s been an extraordinary year with both our cattle ranch and the findings of our @casagave.sma , who also produces our mezcal @matademonte.sma
It’s not just about grinding it up. And feeding itZ there’s a fermentation process that should happen in order for tit to be way more nutritious for the cow. Also pretty short sighted. As there’s a Pulque and other products that can be made with agave.
Tequila crash so they can hike the price in 10 years and market it as the healthiest alcohol to drink. #itwasplanned40yearsago
That's cooked and done agave
My uncle has a huge farm and recently all he planted was maguey. We’re from Degollado, Jal. which is not far from Jesus Maria. Anyways, with the prices falling he decided to cut his losses now and yank everything out. A lot of farmers in the area are doing the same.
