@verdadtruemodernmexican has been on my feed a lot lately so I went to give you an in-depth review! @perrys_steakhouse opened this concept serving modern Mexican food.
Here’s what we ordered-
Surf and turf fajitas 55

Thoughts? The filet mignon tacos and surf and turf were the best things we had here. The steak and lobster were cooked perfectly and we enjoyed their corn tortillas. The other dishes were meh. The queso fundido was underwhelming and you can opt to get free sausage. It needed more oomph and I prefer the one at Gabriela’s. The churros tasted underdone. The chicken enchilada Roja sauce was very savory but lacked any sort of depth and it tasted kinda rubbery to me? Weird. The mole sampler was a good value but we only enjoyed the tamarind mole. Overall may not be the best for vegetarians but plenty of meat and vegetarian options. I recommend sticking to fajitas and going in for the MEAT rather than the other dishes. The service was excellent and they were really friendly and took off the chicken enchiladas from the bill since we barely touched it.
