File is available on Printables as well as Makerworld. Thanks for your patience on this as it took me some time to come back to redesigning the model. Took some tweaking the last day or so to get the offsets to fit right. It’s a really cool locking system that I haven’t used before but can totally see my self modeling it more into future projects. As it’s a very positive stop for alignment and a sturdy lock up. If you do make one of these let me know what you think. I think it’s a great addition to all of you who have 3d scanners now.

You better file a patent! People are gonna start storing stuff in cases like crazy now! Haha, this is awesome! The stickers seem like a huge drawback to the scanners
Will they stick to my head
I think there’s a way to use section analysis and line the threads up in fusion 360 @3d_diy_dave
Brilliant 🙌
What scanner is that?

🔥🔥🔥Nice design dude.❤️
Brilliant. 👏👏
What scanner are you using?
This looks super helpful, I’ve struggled with scanning my models, let’s hope this works!
Are the dots specific to your scanning software or do a lot of scanning software need em?
So satisfying 😚
