This LED fixture has a unique ability we’ve never seen before, and it might revolutionize film lighting.
This is the @rosco_labs DMG Lion, a game changer in a saturated LED market. This fixture houses swappable LED Engines for an infinitely-scalable product that evolves with its user base and modern tech. The initial LED Engine offerings are Mix and Punch. Mix is a RGBALW Engine with tons of color light modes using broad gamut phosphor LED’s for deep color. Punch is a super-bright Bi-Color Engine with a CCT range of 2700K-6500K plus Green/Magenta shift.
The Lion also boasts a 13” build-in fresnel with some incredible falloff and perfect shadows. But here’s the best part - the fresnel is motorized, letting you adjust the beam angle from 15° to 75°, an incredible range. At 65lbs, this light is built like a tank, and ready for some serious on-set action.

Only 65lbs? I can’t wait to put this full stick on a mombo combo.
Here's a company who adapted and survived for generations!
we love that!!!
Yeah I think the fixture seems a bit to big for a 1k. Also the price is too high. I would rather go for the aputure cs15 for now, although the fresnel with e spot and flood option is a super nice feature.
Woahhhh
That output is pretty dismal. People really need to learn what photometrics are.
And the price?
Equivalent to a 5k HMI or tungsten?
Interesting concept but not enough Lux for highspeed for that price Tag :/
Looks uh not bright
