In 1972, the rom com anthology series with the explosive fireworks and flag opening LOVE AMERICAN STYLE aired an episode called “Love in the Happy Days”. Starring Ron Howard (then Ronny, which was his child star stage name) it was about a 50s family the Cunninghams headed by Marion Ross and their lovelorn teen son and his friends, with Anson Williams playing “Potsie”. It was so popular that ABC order a series called HAPPY DAYS that debuted two years later with the critical addition of a dude named The Fonz. #loveamericanstyle #ronhoward #allamerican #fourthofjuly #america #70stv #abc #tvthemesongs

I love this theme. It reminds me when I was 10 yrs old and my sister and I would watch this at my Aunt & Uncles Farm in Spring Glen, Utah.
Friday nights🔥🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Now that's some old school TV 📺 show.
Was that THE Rick Carrott?😮
I used to watch show religiously when I was a kid. Fun times.
I loved Love American Style... Even better than Happy Days!
As was the fad of time, creating TV series inspired by successful movies. This was on the heels of Love Italian Style with Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastriani. Happy Days after American Graffiti, Mash after Mash, The Odd Couple... and so on
Loved watching it!
I recall watching this episode
Reminds of being a loser if sitting at home alone on a Saturday night! That was on rare occasions!
It's been a very long time since I've seen this show
