Okay okay I approve now
The original lore about having outlets on islands was to avoid extension cords and tripping. The new code avoids children or a person passing by, pulling pots off the island. Back to extension cords? I bet most people will ignore code…
New electrical code prohibits outlets below counter tops in kitchens. Kinda sets bad example.
Way over priced. Cool concept though
Once they're in, is there any give to them? Do they rotate
🔥😳🔥
Look up the new wiring codes for kitchen islands. In so many words and the language they are using. They are going in the direction away from the plugs on the side of the island. Because of the danger it has imposes /caused with people getting caught up in the cord. With the plugged in appliance and getting seriously injured and even one death. The only solution for now is to install pop up plug-ins. Not a total fan of them.
