Anytime I see a line that long for food, I just walk away.
They have a few in NYC and tbh, I think it’s better in NYC. I was disappointed when I had it in Florence.
They are in rome too and one evening when noone was in line we got some and i totally agree. It was okay but not what i expected with that hype. Lot of other stores have it too

I would not recommend Panini Toscani unless you’re starving and cannot walk another step. They definitely have an attitude and push you around if they detect you’re a tourist. Did not feel welcome at all. The panino is good tho but nothing exceptional. Pino’s on the other hand is wonderful and the staff is super friendly!
We’ve gotten them 3 times while we’ve been in Florence - the sandwiches are super tasty and we haven’t waited more than 5 minutes for it and they were super nice to us. 🤷♀️ But I get it - when cronuts were so popular in the states, there was no way I was waiting for those!

Thank you! 👏 I totally agree, Milan is the same and you have 4 all’antico vinaio but only one is extra over hyped and it’s impossible to eat there (also from an Italian, not worth it anymore) i mean it’s good but I swear there are SO many great and better places. The other 3 are not hyped and you literally have no waiting and the food is the same. Overpriced as well lol
