London’s quirkiest restaurant 😮
AD-INVITE | @beachblanketbabylon in Notting Hill looks like a regular restaurant on the outside but when you step inside, you realise what an insane interior it has. There are drawbridges, a ballroom, underground caves, a chapel and a bar. It’s an on Georgian mansion that’s been renovated but it’s honestly one of the the coolest spaces I’ve ever been in. You feel transported to a fairy-tale land for sure!
The food is pretty normal compared to the interior and I had the wild mushroom tortellini (£18) and the lemon tart (£9). The lemon tart was delicious but I’d say the food is pretty expensive for what it is - you’re definitely paying for the location. I personally wouldn’t mind paying this because the location is exquisite and genuinely feels like a gem in London. Notting Hill has the coolest places to eat in London and this is definitely one of them.
EDIT: There are accounts of this place having hygiene issues and issues with paying staff and I would suggest you research this before you go as there are various accounts of this spot having problems that I was unfamiliar with before I visited.
