How to make an easy butter sauce for vegetables 🧈

“Beurre fondu à l’eau” translates to “melted butter with water” in English. Also called Beurre monte. In this technique, water is added to butter to create an emulsion, resulting in a creamy, stable sauce or mixture that incorporates both water and fat.
It’s a simple way to elevate vegetables!
Ingredients:
* 1 lb vegetables of choice, blanched or par-cooked
* 2-3 tbsp butter, whole
* 2-3 tbsp water

my brother in christ, beurre fondu means melted butter, this is not a sauce 😭
You can also pre make a beurre monte which is an emulsified sauce from butter and a minimal amount of water. We used this to slowly poach lobster tails @kellyscleankitchen

What! I thought that’s how everybody cook it😦 I add a little bit of soy sauce to it at the very end let it bubble up for a few seconds. Try it, it’s so good😙
