Only a grantor can make changes to a trust. If you're not the grantor of "your" trust you can't make changes. Changes are always needed,e.g., divorce, child marries a doofus and you need to prevent the doofus from inheriting your child's share, your designated successor can't serve. There are a million possibilities. This man doesn't understand the law. This is what happens when you give a monkey a machine gun.
