Such an awesome idea! You might be better off with the groove above the door. The "seat" or trough on bottom will get full of dirt and debris and then it will stop working.

The lock gets flipped in mid swing and boom there goes your hardwood floor. Now it looks like the door drawing on an architectural plan. 😂
