We lay on the floor, never intending for our evening to end like this. We’d simply collapsed onto the carpet, surrounded by pillows and blankets, savoring the moment as the world faded away. Penny was beside me, his hand gently tracing invisible patterns on my back.
I turned toward him, our faces so close that I could feel his breath on my skin. There was a soft warmth in his eyes—a look that made words unnecessary. He smiled faintly, and I smiled back, brushing my fingers lightly across his face.
We kissed slowly, each deep, lingering kiss making time stand still. His hand continued to caress my back, while I, in turn, touched his shoulders, enjoying how his body leaned into mine. It was more than an embrace—it was our unspoken closeness, where the warmth of our bodies spoke for us.
We lay there, wrapped in each other, quietly enjoying the moment. It was our silence, our intimacy, in which nothing else was needed…🤍💙
