🤣 It’s the fact that people on the train ride back home thought I hijacked it 🤣😭🤔 LOL sadly, no, it was not free.. I bought it lmao
I learned about the annual MTA yard sale last year and have been waiting to get that email notification with this years deets 🙌 I think it’s happening all weekend long, but you have to schedule an appointment time to show up before they send you the address (it’s deeeep in BK lol)
Most subway sign pieces were between $200-$500, but some were $1k+ like ones that said Grand Central Station or Central Park.
I found this one in a pile in one of the containers and it was only $100!
This is the kind of experience that really makes NYC one of the greatest cities in the world. What a fun thing to do and now I will have a piece of NYC with me for the rest of my life no matter where I live next 😊🗽❤️ I freakin love living here! I literally feel like I’m in a sitcom 😂😂😂
