Is there any Filament which does the same with ABS? I heard Hips should work but there are no Videos out there

How do you keep the petg print from snapping off at the interface layer of the pla? That was my issue

What do you use for flushing volumes? I run into issues where it isn’t flushing enough, so I end up with layer issues in the model.

One thing you forgot to mention. Build plate temps. When using PLA as support interface and using Engineer plate you have set the PLA (cool plate) temps the same. Or it won’t slice.

Had Problems, that the Layer where is the material Switch to Pla for Support is very easy to break the petg model

@could.be.printedbyprusa I love how easy this method is to remove supports using this method but it seems to make the next few layers after the supports extremely weak. Have you noticed this? I’m wondering if the purge time and prime tower need to be longer/bigger.

Das ist absolut Suboptimal. Die Druckzeit erhöht sich. Das " Poop" wird dadurch auch viel mehr.

  • @tiasimo 2025-01-28

The problem is that if you do not clean your nozzle with a LOT of flushing volume, your part becomes very week, as it contaminated the other material and your later adhesion becomes weak

    Do you print with PVA?

  • @zach_low_ 2025-01-26

    How about for tree supports

  • @sightsincolor 2025-01-24

Is it worth it though with the time it adds?
