Now the tie fighter attack makes sense seeing those guns mounted in that vertical configuration. Off all the inconsistencies we’ve forgiven as fans the biggest is probably that sequence.

I notice they’re not telling the FULL story, that the Space NINETEEN-NINETY NINE (one year off the “Millennium”) EAGLE came out - George literally took direct inspo from Space 1999 for the name “Millennium Falcon” - & other people said they were too similar. Facts.
