Used one to cut some custom made 1/4” steel “T” posts for my retaining wall. Being a cabinet maker I was very skeptical of this working, couldn’t believe how easy and clean it cut through the material.

I tried one once to cut 1/4” carbon steel. Very disappointed. Only lasted for a few cuts and then it was toast. Definitely not worth the money and I would’ve been better off using a grinder or a plasma cutter.
