Snap! Screws uninvited to this part(y) 🍾
I have to remove the backplate of TARS quite often. Whenever I change things up or add functionality to the electronics. For that I need to have a quick connect/disconnect mechanism attached to the aluminum profile 🦦
This part took a few iterations until I had a grip that was really tight but not too tight so I would get it off again. The orientation of the layers makes it quite durable. I did not want to use screws here for the aesthetics. Double sided sticky tape holds the printed pins to the cover. On the video there are only two of the snap-joints but I use four of them right now 🐋
