    This actually works quite well as a one time key. Print it out of petg and be easy with it when unlocking. That code can also be given to a locksmith (or some hardware stores with a key cutting service) and they can cut a duplicate for you.

    True story, I did this in college and it immediately broke off in the front door of my apartment with 7 other people... spent the next 3 hours trying to get it out with 50 different tools before my roommates realized how dumb I am... the plastic fragments off in the lock too, and jams tighter...

    True story, i needed a key for a coworkers office for the internet guy. I had the coworker send me a picture of his key designed, printed and 30 minutes later opened the door with the printed key.

    In europe we are safe, almost every country has its own favorite standard for keys
