Can the layout of rubber strip on vacuum puck be modified or is that fixed? I wonder if this will hold narrow stocks like face frame rails and stile.

I think I'd rather have a foot control than a key control in my hands or a simple flip switch. Now you have to pick up something just to turn it on and off you keep track of that fob?
