This is shady construction but also the Building Codes aren’t tough enough in that area. Also, how was it possible to get that far along on the project and have so much wrong with the with. The Inspectors are partially responsible for this. This would NEVER happen in South Florida. We have the toughest codes in the country and the inspectors down here make sure things are done right. As much as its a pain in the butt, it saves lives and property. The above situation could have been much worse if people were already living in there.
