Okay, maybe you’ve seen one of these if you piloted fighter jets in the 1960’s. Today I’m walking you through one of the most sought-after buckles in prop history. Made famous in Disney’s The Rocketeer, these buckles are rarely found in the wild, and even reproductions are super costly. I’ll definitely be using these for a few cyberpunk builds I have in the works, and make sure to stay tuned for the strength test video!

Considering their price, you'd think someone could do new runs of them. I think the hardware of outerwear and bags make up the bulk of the personality of the item. I would use something like this for all kinds of stuff, but the best you can find these days is zinc or aluminum. Thanks for sharing!
*Starts hearing The Batman theme*
I have a couple metal versions of the larger buckle from the rocketeer

Epic
Love the rocketeer.
I've been interested in getting some custom hardware produced. I would love to know more about the processes you used to make that resin copy!
Oh beautiful thing
“They’re extremely expensive” _smacks the shit out of them_
@circa1964 may be of interest!
3d scan it and upload those. They would make a great 3d printed add on to cosplay stuff.
I'd love to see 3d print files for this
