🪟 @pellawindows make windows with these built-in screens.
The first thing I do at my house is pull off all the window screens because it looks so much better. You totally lose the ability to open the widows when the weather gets nice. So glad they came up with a solution like this.
Thoughts? Would you consider these for your new home build?

Awesome. Hate separate screens. But hope hold up to wind and easy to replace?
Very expensive 😞
I actually had this at the 100-year-old college I was attending. It's not new tech, but it needs to be brought back.
Old school and scrapped because it doesn't last and it's a shitty idea.
Ohhhhh I want
Totally awesome!!! 😍

Make sure it's completely dry before you close it! Oops, it rained, and now you have a festering water pocket!
Imagine the bugs caught in that
I hate screens! Removed mine because they make windows look so ugly. A screen that only appears when you open a window is perfect. But can the retracting screen be purchased separately from the window?
Hahaha I have a ginger cat those screens are so fucked
You could also design it to have a spool in the bottom of the frame to have a flat screen
We just have a fly screen on the outside panel, standard in Australia…
These are junk! Purchased these for a new construction job and the screens wrinkle and don’t go back down well.without fiddling with it. Never again
Ok but how sturdy is that? And how easy to replace?
