As a gradeschool tater tot, I remember our two Rhodies would follow us down to the bus stop out front and hang around us kids to see us off. They would be there when we came home. They acted happily wiggly to be noticed. Mom swore they could tell time as they were set like clockwork around 3:30. Though they were meant to be free range bug eating egg layer birds, they imprinted upon us as wee peeps. We let them come in for treats and hugs. They were like lap dogs when cozy. 😊

I want a chicken to cuddle with. This is how I snuggle with my cockatiel, but since she’s only little her chest is pressed against my face. Thank you for showing the world what sweet souls chickens are.
