🔧 La funzione base di spianatura c’è e funziona, quindi posso finalmente concentrarmi su qualche accessorio che la renda ancora più versatile. Primo step: blocco asse e blocco di fine corsa, perché un minimo di controllo in più non guasta mai.

Da qui si apre un mondo di possibilità: fresate cieche, fresate passanti, fresate parallele, fresate perpendicolari… insomma, un sacco di fresate! L’idea è di rendere la slitta utilizzabile anche per qualche lavorazione di precisione, senza snaturarne la funzione principale.

Fresate ripetute? Ah no, quelle al prossimo giro… o magari tra due, ché le idee non mancano. 😂

🔧 The basic surfacing function is in place and working, so now I can finally focus on some accessories to make it even more versatile. First up: axis lock and stop block—because a little extra control never hurts.

From here, the possibilities open up: blind cuts, through cuts, parallel cuts, perpendicular cuts… basically, all the cuts! The goal is to make the sled usable for some precision work without losing sight of its main function.

Repeated cuts? Oh no, those are for next time… or maybe the time after that, because ideas keep coming. 😂
