It’s gorgeous but the thing nobody tells you is that while Maldives are spectacular looking few things to keep in mind: 1. Each island is privately owned by the resort on it. So make sure the resort you are staying at has plenty of activities available (unless you like being a vegetable on vacation) 2. Some islands are very far from Male airport, some you even have to take a little plane to get there. Take that into account when planning your trip 3. Related to point 2, Maldives are often quite windy so it may affect the small plane ride to and from Male to and from your resort
Personally I would not stay more than 4 days in the Maldives, it’s way too boring for me.
