Could this be the drink of the summer? I think Bourdain would approve.
Let’s talk about one of Anthony Bourdain’s favorite cocktails:
The Caipirinha — Brazil’s national treasure and proof that brilliance doesn’t need complexity.
A foundation of earthy, funky cachaça, muddled with fresh lime wedges and gritty granulated sugar. I like to give it a quick muddle, throw it in the shaker, and dirty dump it right into the glass — no frills, no garnish, no nonsense.
Sometimes the best things in life are. unapologetically simple.

Can’t state how much I hate this drink. It tastes and smells like a baby diaper wrapped in a sock. I’m not very picky but this is awful. Maybe I got a bad bottle of cachaca? It’s just so bad.
My fav drink! The Caipirinha! It means “redneck” 😂and the alcohol is pronounced “Ka-Shaw-Sah”=cachaça. From Brasil! 🇧🇷🫶
