Whenever I take friends and family flying, there’s always a worry in the back of my mind…if something happened to me, who would land the airplane?
In the new @cirrusaircraft SR Series G7+, that worry is gone. The G7+ is the first single-engine piston airplane to be equipped with Safe Return Emergency Autoland by @garminaviation, a system designed to select an airport and route, fly the airplane, and land safely when the pilot can’t. I love this feature so much — it’s a huge stride forward in general aviation safety that keeps the same level of joy in flying.
Thank you so much to Cirrus and @adventureflyer for the fantastic Safe Return demo!

I don’t know much about planes, but this seems like a no-brainer should be mandatory for all small aircraft as well as parachutes. Eliminate the tragedy of people dying altogether from airplane crashes.
Ahhh to have the resources to buy such a plane
Wow, that is so cool.
Mrbeast saw this?’
🙌❤️
@jonslusser This is cool.
I had a chance to fly a cirrus SR22 when they came to our airport, I said then, this is a plane that anyone can fly , and by the looks of this video they have perfected it!
This is an amazing technology and will definitely encourage more people to fly!
They should incorporate this in all airplanes
Great we are going to be out of a job soon
Woww absolutely incredible
Definitely a life saver. Amazing. 😎🇺🇸🫡🫡🫡
Tesla FSD with a prop.
Wow… I want this for my GLIDER… But doubt this will ever come to be.!!
So is that to say that the at the Airplane computes specific range, sets the mixture for optimal burn? Shouldn’t the pilot I already been operating there? Any failsafe modes for loss of GPS signal?
