It not insane! It’s business as usual. If you delve deep into JP Morgan’s history and a bunch of other banks shady dealings, the Madoff fraud would seem tame compared to other financial atrocities these financial institutions have committed.

Thats not true. I acted as attorney for investors in the maddoff scheme. The trustee and global custodian for the funds was some offshore company turned out to be controlled by Madoff family and the cash bank was Jpm. Think about it, if the exclusive broker for the fund was maddoff brokerage entity why would the securities account not be with the brokerage entity
