How is tool communicating with the controller. That spindle stops spinning ur in for a party

Interesting
-Is it an actual spindle or am adapter?
-How long does it last under load?
-What happens if I run out of power in the middle of a process (taking the battery pack off for recharge/swap has got to introduce offset and return to zero issues no?)
-I can see having a battery as sort of a way to deal with power fluctuations showing in ultra-high finishing, but what is the utility of having a battery driven spindle in a shop (which typically has plenty of power available?
-What is the market for this (who are the buyers)?

What’s the max diameter tool shank that fits? 1/64th?

With no wires, how are you turning it on? Bluetooth? 😂

Does the battery not throw it out of balance once set with no battery on

Very cool. Would love to see it in operation in some videos if possible. Also, can it handle the axial loads efficiently? What about the robustness, is it close to what we get from our actual spindle? Cheers.

No it's not .. you lock the spindle rotation with an M code and only use the axis of the machine .. we did this with spindle speeders from Ibag Switzerland

wow that's truly a fascinating piece of paperweight next month's on boss's table! it would definitely outlast a cucumber if handled carefully!

This resolves all issues about using coolant drive, air drive or electrical drive high speed spindle.

Through tool coolant?

What kind of bearings did they use ? It's a great piece of engineering. Respekt !

Does the machine spindle turn in operation or just the tool spindle? How does the tool spindle get activated?
