Made by one of Japan’s last pencil factories, Kita-boshi’s tools are steeped in legacy. Since 1950, they’ve combined tradition with innovation.
From zero-waste pencils and watercolor kits to triangular designs for kids, each product embodies care for quality and sustainability.
The Otona No Enpitsu is a standout—a 2mm mechanical pencil with a wooden barrel that rekindles love for analog tools.
Here are 5 items that define Kitaboshi’s values. Discover your next stationery crush.

triangular pencil? wow
I'll be damned if I have to sharpen the pencil I use so I don't have to sharpen pencils
They are the best ones. I was luki to get a pencil set from Asian Musum in San Francsico 4 years ago and they still last !!!!
I would rather buy a 10 cent pencil
