I put a wasps nest in the driver's seat when I exit the vehicle.

I'm glad my older Denali uses an actual key 😂 Not a fan of the keyless, push-to-start, etc crap

Ashamed of nothing. Unaccountable for everything. Anyway, it’s not JUST GM vehicles. It’s ALL new/newer vehicles with proximity key fobs/push-to-start ignitions. That said, whether you have something old or new and it’s either a high theft vehicle and/or you’re worried about theft, in general- install a hidden kill switch. Unless they have a hard on for your specific vehicle, and even then- they are not going to hang around trying to get it to start.

Conspiracy theory: manufacturers and insurance companies know that to keep people buying new vehicles, they won't do anything to make this preventable, thus keeping both industries paid.

One of many reasons push button start systems were a huge downgrade.
