🌀円盤カンナ。昔は、すべて手作業🖐️で、時間も手間もすごく大変だった事でしょう。3代目の祖父👴の頃から、各種木工機械を取り入れ、機械に頼れるところは、頼らせていただきながら、最終は、鉋を掛ける。
手作業でしか出来ない、あえて手作業にこだわる、手作業だからの違いがあります。❣️
比べるものがないと、なかなかわからないのですが、工房見学、体験に来られた方に、木工機械で削っただけの木材🪵とその後、鉋掛けした木材🪵を見て👀、触ってもらったら、その違いに皆さん、とてもびっくり🫢感動🥺されます。
⛩️神具は、自然のもの、つまり無塗装、無垢で制作するので、木(桧)🪵そのものの色艶を引き出し、手触りの良さを大切にしています。❤️
🐲神具職人の担い手として、機械をうまく取り入れながら、ひと手間と言うこだわりを持ち続けていきたいです。💪

What machine is this!? Why not use a standard planer/joiner setup? I know they have those in Japan; I lived there for 10 years and have tools from there still.
