For everyone asking: Corso festival on Zundert (netherlands) This Is a flower festival held yearly for the past 80 years. 18 neighborhoods compete to have the most amazing flower boat. Theme changes yearly. Over half a million flowers are used on each boat. Only the BEST boat can stop, the others continue parading until the end (all manpower). There are limitations to the size cause everyone was going crazy and it needed to be stopped. The builders spend the summer building the frame for their boat. Only Dahlias are allowed, so each neighbourhood plants and cares for their own dahlia field to make their boat. The elders are usually the ones growing the dahlias while younger generations participate in the frame building. This year’s parade is gone, so plan for 2026!!!!

Hiii, I helped a little bit with the flowers on this particular piece of art. There were a total of 20 wagons.This one became second (yt bloemencorso zundert Feniks’) All manual labor and it’s all being pushed by very dedicated people aside and under the wagon. If anyone has questions, I’m here!
