Why carry 𝟮.𝟮𝗸𝗴… when 𝟮𝟭𝟱𝗴 lasts over 𝟳𝘅 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿?
🔥𝗙𝗔𝗤 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 – 𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟳: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀?
The Fire Safety Stick stands apart in several key ways:
✅ 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 – No compressed gas so no risk of leaks, and no annual servicing required.
✅ 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗻 – Typically lasting at least 𝟯𝘅 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 than traditional extinguishers.
✅ 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 – Leaves 𝗻𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗲.
✅ 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 & 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 – Easier to carry and store without compromising effectiveness.
✅ 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 time – A 1kg powder extinguisher (2.2kg gross weight) only lasts around 7 seconds… while even the lightest Fire Safety Stick (just 215g) discharges for 50 seconds minimum.
𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘦 time. 𝘓𝘦𝘴𝘴 mess. 𝘚𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘳 safety.
That’s why the Fire Safety Stick is redefining what you expect from a fire extinguisher.

“Leaves no residue” clearly left a lot of “residue”
Soooo, what is it? I’m guessing carbon that burns to release CO2 to put out the fire? Or a similar reaction putting out an inert gas?
A regular fire extinguisher is meant to cover a large surface area quickly, for when your apartment or car caught fire. This looks good for putting out small fires from a close distance. Imagine your entire couch is on fire, you wouldn't be able to get within 2m of it due to the heat, that's when you need high pressure and high surface area extinguishers. It's like comparing a watergun to a firetruck
This seems to work in a similar fashion to say a Halon extinguisher ie it consumes or replaces the oxygen in a given space… what happens if you ignite it in a small office storage cupboard for example - could it be life threatening in a confined space?
So he used a lighter to start the candle when there's already a open flame 🤔
Small discharge time is important in case people try to put out a fire already too big. If they see that the fire extinguisher is empty and it didn't put out the fire it gives them the time to flee from the fumes and fire. 50 seconds is way too long and expose people to a much bigger risk of dying.
What materials can't it be used on?
How much?
Would one of these be sufficient to replace the fire extinguisher in my soldering box? And will my insurance company accept it as such??
Are these safe to carry on airplanes? Approved baggage by FAA?
It does not leave no residue. That potassium oxide will eventually convert to corrosive potassium hydroxide and later on potassium carbonate
@firesafetystick but will it be ineffective if the fire inside the oven burns the stick?
Is it suitable for use in pressurised environments like aircraft or submarines.
Where to get?
Where can i buy them?
