The Ethiopian bible oldest translated bible in existence. Next is the Sinai bible which dates back even further to the 4th century and finally the Dead Sea Scrolls. Older than both Sinai and Ethiopia bible.
All 3 have been translated and all 3 match word for word the only difference to today’s bible is the stories included.

Jesus of Nazareth. Idk why these people thought he was Jesus of London 😂.
I like how the professor backs him on everything

He’s correct, Christianity is not necessarily a European religion. but Christianity didn’t spread through Africa organically. It was forced upon people by colonial powers and Jesus was never white in any of their paintings and sculptures. So yeah…

Absolutely correct 💯
Fire burns. Water wets things and power is sometimes shocking.
It didn’t start there though…. It was brought there, they were taught it & used to go learn and worship in temples in the land of the people who taught them.. they started to build their own temples bc for some reason the people who taught them wouldn’t let them worship there anymore… I don’t want to lie, but I believe it was some descendant of Greek something. Idk, now I gotta go look it up.

Enoch isn’t invented in a vacuum. The authors were working within a genre of apocalyptic, visionary storytelling that already existed, then adapted it for Jewish theological purposes. They added their own spin — linking it to monotheism, morality, and eventual messianic hope.
In other words, Enoch is less “original author” and more a node in a long chain of myth-making.
