It's like carving a matchstick out of an entire tree.
You know, they make tree branches in this shape for free.
interesting but it feels like a crime scene
Would be much better to find twisted branches and make them from a shape that nature grew.. would have uniform grain and be much stronger as well as more organic with 4 slightly different leg shapes. Just my opinion
What makes it crepuscular? Do you know what the word means?
What a waste of beautiful wood!
I want this, how much
Probably not an issue but the load bearing capacity of such an item may be less than of a piece of wood that was bent using heat and steam. When the wood is cut in such a shape it shortens the lengthwise contact area of strands of wood. Once it gets really dry it may be more prone to shearing along the vertical axis. But as long as the table it is being used for will only be used for dishes and not for dancing on it it would be fine. The advantage of this method seems to be high precision of resulting shapes. As long as one keeps in mind that wood is anisotropic material as opposed to metal which is isotropic usually. Good demo to show off robot capabilities. Sawdust could be shaped into MDF 🙂. No need to worry too much about waste since it would not ever reach industrial scale.
Amazing 👏
Just why?
Why waste so much wood
What is the name of the software for cam
Bro could just off center turn this
This is so 🤦🏼
👏👏👏👏👏
