Ancient Japanese 3D-Printing Technique
We think combining 3D-Prints with other readily available items is very interesting. Utilizing the strength of each part. 💪
In this case we developed a wall/ceiling mount that utilizes the mechanism of a zip tie! Magic ✨
You can securely tighten anything to your drywall now!

Ancient 3d printing ? 😂
Saw this at the national museum of Asian art
Not the people taking "ancient 3d printing techniques" seriously in the comments 😭😂
How's 3D printing ancient technique?
Oh yeah the Bushido of 3D prints
Or you can use a screw
How to dismount? 🤔
This tech is from the edo period when auto leveling became a thing while the 3d printing began in the Nara period when people learnt to layer their poop through a hand made bamboo pipe. It's not everyday when people with credible sources post online
I mean.... That's genius❤️
Nice in theory, but zip ties don’t last long before turning brittle and easy to break, especially if it’s now responsible to hold a load. Maybe metal zip ties?
Doesn't look like less effort than one screw
This is genius, well done!
Great design architecture. Tad too much audio on the clip bud. Headphones not advised 😉
I didn’t know there was 3D printing in ancient Japan 🙀
How to remove it later?
