Feels like it would take forever to win
If you have three in a row and one piece off the board, can you add that piece to make four in a row and win?
Why is it tic tac toe when you have to get 4 in a row? Isn’t that more like… connect four??
Tic Tac Chec!
What if you forget which direction your pawn is facing
What happens if all of your pieces get taken, do you instantly lose or freely place another one?
i loved the concept and went on to make a web version for this game and made it open source so go play it... there is also multiplayer and single player modes with ai so go check it out...link:

capturing a piece feels like helping the oppenent more than anything in most cases, and what happens if you manage to block the the opponent's pawn and they can't do anything about it?
Why did your castle start off at an angle?
Wait. So your order of moves.. white places - black places - white places - black places - white places - black places - then at this part, u said white had the option to places or move... then you proceeded to move the black rook... so on anyone's turn they can move any color? The objective remains: you must get your starting color in a row?
Okay I absolutely love this! And I wish I had more people to send this to, to ensure I get to play this in my lifetime. Buuuut.... I gotta say, this is Chess Connect 4, not Chess Tic Tac Toe 😜 absolutely fantastic idea, ty!!!
Pieces move the same way in chess: proceeds to move the rook like the knight. Great idea though, will definitely try it out! Thanks.
