One of the coolest things I've ever done.... Highly recommend
I think, to be fair, the title of the video is misleading, but thats just social media for you. lol. Always. Do. Your. Own. Research. This doesn't literally take you through the red rocks of Sedona. Sedona is 35 minutes away and these rocks you're seeing in the background of the reel are vaguely orange, but mostly at eye level its a tan color, as its the outer layers of the Mogollon Rim (that goes into Sedona). A lot of people don't know that Sedona is made up of many red rock layers - the famous deep red rocks you see in Sedona is NOT what you will see here. You'll only see a layer that is very diluted of the iron that makes Sedona famous for its views and formations. This is the Verde Canyon Railroad and is generally the most beautiful to visit - arguably - during spring or fall, though they do have a cute set up at night for winter.
But to say its the Red Rocks of Sedona without the nuance isn't really fair to people who aren't locals and don't know any better. Hope that clears things up for people in the comments section! ❤️ Still very fun, it takes you out to a more isolated desert area of Northern AZ where there used to be an old mining stop. History, as is, is interesting all in itself 😉☺️✨️
Did this last April with my daughter and we had so much fun!
Great song brings back a lot of memories❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Looking forward to visiting from Canada after MAGA and the trade war is over ✌️
Not Sedona. Sedona is 20 miles away
Great way to spend an afternoon.
