Panelized lighting keeps the walls clean and the control centralized. By running every fixture back to a lighting panel, we can place keypads exactly where they make sense—and avoid cluttering a luxury home with rows of switches.#epichomesystems #epichomesystems

Yeah it’s the “future” until one of those cards takes a dump and you have to pay a “system integrator” to program it and an electrician to install it…
So you’re running more than 4x the amount of wire through that house just to dim lights? Jfc run a wireless control module on each fixture
Just give me a flippen switch 🤣. This is ridiculous.
You are using 10 years old technology. There are now aqara and zigbee switches that can be programmed on your phone and one three gang switch can control up to 12 separate devices. They can be programmed with microwave sensors and temperature sensors and can do so many different tasks. You have pretty much built 3 huge panels to host a bunch of relays. This is Stone Age
Absolutely not. Run circuits. Use your brain. Expensive solutions to problems that don’t exist and require expensive maintenance in the future.
Wait till the in-laws come and need to use the bathroom at 3am.
So instead of 4 switches in a bank you get a wall ipad that still functions the same? All I see is thousands of feet of extra wire and way more $$ for the same function.
There is a specific client for this system. Not your everyday install. Beautiful system.
So a key pad in each room to turn its lights on and off? Just put light switches in and save miles of cable and expensive controllers
Give me a simple lights switch and a dimmer. Nine of these systems ever work when yiu need them too.
Ever heard of KNX?
I used to believe in smart homes, I bought a new home and I’m now adamant about keeping it at dumb as possible
Nah... we're good, a light switch will do just fine 👍🏽
Have you ever considered KNX? With that you can integrate heating, ventilation, AC, lighting and mix your keypads/sensors/actuators between over 500 different manufacturers with over 8000 different products.
Why stop here? Why not move all the outlets down to the panel and the customer can call you to plug in an extension cord and hand them the end of the cord?
