Struggling with supports that stick too much?
This simple tweak in Bambu Studio makes them pop off cleanly every time.
Settings I used:
• Top Z Distance → 0.27 mm
• Support XY Distance → ~0.38mm
• Initial Layer Density → 70 - 80%
• Top Interface Layers → 3
• Top Interface Spacing → 0.2 mm
Save this for your next print.
Your supports will thank you!

Yall are so obsessed with making supports come off easier you forget why they exist. Yes this has easy overhangs because they are straight lines but in other prints 0.27 might get you messed up overhang quality
Nice but this is good for layer at 0.2mm and for PLA.., good tip is to take your layer height and increase by 40/50% example of you are at 0.16mm you try 0.22mm and a Little bit more for PETG
Thank you sir 👏👏🙌🙌
Okay so now how do I stop my material from sagging affecting appearance of the underside?
Thank you, for me depending on which machine i use this setting or up by .10 but awesome work. A lot of people don't know that they put it at this distance to lower the fault but once you know your machine you'll get it. This would help the beginners for she with the struggle
there’s a free $2500 code in my story
Big thanks for that video. I'm beginner in 3d printing. Your video was the 1st one that explained what the distances mean.👍
Or just use support filament
Need support settings for tpu. Because removing it is a nightmare...
