Absolute GARBAGE information. Please don't listen to this guy. If your car is running rough because of a damaged catalyst, that means it is impeding exhaust flow. This causes extreme back pressure that can potentially cause catastrophic engine failure. Adding the spacer on the O2 sensor will only trick the PCM into thinking that the catalyst is okay. But it will still melt and damage your engine. Before damaging your engine, you'll experience a terrible loss of power, acceleration, and fuel economy. Also, if you're in California and you think this is gonna help you pass smog, it won't. If the technician performs a proper inspection, your car will fail for being "TAMPERED." Good luck getting a hot smog after that. Please y'all, stop putting these silly things on your car. Try Cat-A-Clean, check for exhaust leaks, and check out the live data on your O2 sensors to see if they're acting as they should. Just some friendly advice from a 13 year ASE certified smog technician still in practice. God bless 🙌🏼
