Print settings:
Glossy = Hot + Slow
Matte = Cool + Fast
Filament matters. Settings matter more.

Lower temps + higher speeds 4 time less layer bonding and parts are fragile
Love it if you could tell us the temp and speed setting you used to create the matt vs shiny look
The only thing you must reach is the best layer bonding. Only this and the print quality, matters.

Exactly, although for dimensional accuracy you might want to also decrease the speed when printing colder.
